VAYL is a small studio making numbered, heavyweight basics. We make only what we can wear out ourselves — then we stop.
Started in 2024 by two friends who couldn't find a hoodie that didn't pill after a wash, didn't look like every other hoodie. We developed a 14oz garment-dyed heavyweight cotton fleece. Every drop is a fixed edition. Every piece is numbered. Every edition closes.
We don't do sales. We don't do influencer seeding. We release when the pieces are right, and we tell you the date — once.
Editions, not seasons.
Every piece is one of N. When N sells through, the file closes. There is no SS27 of any piece.
Heavyweight, period.
14oz cotton fleece. 8oz combed cotton on tees. Nothing under-spec for the price.
No fake scarcity.
We tell you exactly how many we made and how many are left. No 'low stock!' pop-ups. No retail games.
Quiet by design.
No giant logos. The wordmark is in the inside neck. The piece is the thing.
